Born and raised in West Haven, Connecticut, Coach Erv’s journey from Friday night lights to the national stage is nothing short of legendary. A standout at West Haven High School, Erv became a hometown hero before shattering records at Syracuse University, finishing with the most career receptions in program history.
After playing professionally, Erv returned home with a mission: to build up the next generation of athletes through discipline, grit, and real-deal coaching. At Next Up Performance, he’s not just training bodies, he’s shaping mindsets and building leaders.
